My name is Elsie, I am from the Philippines and I came to Canada as a live-in caregiver in 2003.

I had to go overseas first before qualifying to get my work permit to come here. 

It was quite complicated and difficult and expensive to finally arrive here in Canada...

Now, I have my own business and family  here.
